The New Hampshire Marine Patrol said it had to pull one snowmobile driver from the water Friday evening after getting a report that he was zipping through Meredith Bay in heavy boat traffic. The snowmobile sank and the driver, 20-year-old Jonathan Miller of Wolfeboro, was charged with reckless conduct. Marine Patrol said Miller was wearing a life vest and a helmet that had a video camera attached.
A short time later, officers got a report of a second snowmachine in the bay. It also sank. Marine Patrol said it has identified the driver, and charges are pending.Both snowmobiles were recovered.
