Groomers Repairing Damage from Warmup

Our grooming staff made some major progress in repairing the damage from last weeks warmup.

On most of the trails in our system, there is still a 4"-6" hard packed base.  The problem was open waterbars where the snow bridges over them had collapsed.

One of the clubs groomers went out on Saturday and refilled all of the waterbars on the trails south of the clubhouse.  Another crew built a new bridge over a "river" that was caused by beavers blocking up a culvert.

With the snow that is forecast to hit on Monday, our operators should be able to bring these trails back to good condition with a few grooming passes.

The trails north of the clubhouse will be done after the storm hits on Monday.  With cold weather returning next week, all of our trails should be good to excellent for the Martin Luther King holiday weekend.
