NH Bureau of Trails Offers New Option for Condition Reports

(Concord, NH) The Division of Parks and Recreation, Bureau of Trails announces a new way for riders to get reports on current snowmobile trail conditions.  Riders can sign up online to have bi-weekly trail conditions reports sent to them via email.  The reports are updated by the Bureau on Tuesdays and Fridays and are posted at nhtrails.org.  Riders can also check local club websites for information on conditions in their designed riding areas.

The Bureau is reporting that the snowmobile trail system in New Hampshire is currently in great shape.  Local snowmobile clubs and the Bureau of Trails have been working hard all winter to take advantage of the heavy snow totals, resulting in the highest quality snowmobile trails in the northeast.  The continued snow storms are providing for another incredible season, and the recent storm has enhanced the already good riding statewide.

According to Bureau of Trails Chief Chris Gamache, This winter's snow and colder temperatures have resulted in trail status that is even better than last season, and will provide an ideal base for riding over the next several months.  Local communities from every corner of the state are seeing positive economic impacts from visiting riders, and the trails are in better shape than ever.   Gamache encourages enthusiasts to get out and take advantage of New Hampshire's excellent riding conditions this season.

The Bureau of Trails is a part of the NH Division of Parks & Recreation.  The division manages over 73 state parks, campgrounds, historic sites, waysides, natural areasand thousands of miles of trails.  The division is part of the Department of Resources and Economic Development.  For more information about the Bureau of Trails, please call 603-271-3254 or visit www.nhtrails.org
