GROVETON — Thanks to many generous landowners
and the support of the residents of Groveton, North Country ATV is announcing a
new trail through downtown Groveton. This trail allows access to restaurants,
stores, banks and gas.
The 11th annual ATV/Sled Rodeo will be held on August 13, and 14. This year we
are offering extended hours and new events. Friday the gates are open from noon
to7 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
There will be a radar run for ATV’s and sleds,
a mud pit, helicopter rides and food available on the grounds. New this year is
a vintage sled and ATV fl ea market. Anchor flea market vendor is Al’s Snowmobile
of Vermont. Other vendors are welcome.
Also new this year is the Northwood’s Lifestyle festival. Everything you need to
buy or build a camp, second home or retirement home. The Great Northwoods offers
the least expensive four season resort area in the country. Realtors,
contractors, and camp décor vendors will be available for you to meet and talk
about what’s available in the North Country.
In addition, representatives from COHO’s Trail Associates, Northern Forrest
Canoe Trail, and White Mountain NEMBA will also be available. For more
information, visit the North country ATV website at www.northcountryatv.com.I
