| Was finally able to get up for a ride 2-19. Trail 11 WOW flat and the new snow was a nice extra.Just wanted to say what a nice job the volunteers all did on this trail THANKS LARRY.it was such a pleasure to work with a fun bunch. It is amazing how fast so much work and time goes by in such short amount of miles. Was able to get in a good ride for what the snow was like but does the park look pretty tough with all the trees gone .What a big change just from last winter perhaps things will start coming back . |

| Hey Roger, glad you got to ride on the trail you worked so hard on. I've only been out once this year myself. Just can't seem to find the time between work and taking care of the horses. Maybe after this weeks snowstorms I'll get out more. Hope you're doing well and I'm sure I'll see you in the fall when we start trail work again. Take care, Mike |

Hi Mike AND Roger
Good to hear from you and that you are getting to ride.....
I've yet to try out our handy work but hope to soon, before the snow melts!
See ya next fall as Larry has a great deal of trail work already planned............ _________________ Think about the hours of work it took to make that nice smooth trail your thrashing on! Slow down and enjoy the ride! THANKS...... |

| You are right about how quick you ride over our work up there. Over the course of 3 years, we renovated 7 miles of trail and a total of 38 bridges. At 28mph, you ride over that 3 years of work in about 15 minutes. If you take that ratio and apply it to your entire day's ride, there are hundreds of man years of work you are benefiting from in an average day's ride. It's too bad you did not get to ride the trail before this storm John. You would have been impressed at how thin the base was for most of the trail (6" or less in most places). Yet the trail was smooth and fast. Because the underlying trail is flat and dry, we could do a lot with very little snow. |
